Innovation has a key role in the competitive positioning and performance of organisations. For example, it assists in creating new products, identifying new markets, developing new business models, transforming industries and revitalising mature organisations. What is the role of a national innovation system? How do innovative firms ensure that they benefit from their new innovations? What is the role of technological innovation? How do you achieve growth in a mature market? What is strategic renewal? How do you manage intellectual property protection? Is social innovation different from business innovation? What is the role of intangible resources and dynamic capabilities in strategic innovation?
